The closest pick-your-own farm to central London, established in 1938, is a family-run farm that has been running a Pick-Your-Own strawberries programme since 1979.
There are more than 30 varieties of fruit and vegetables available for picking every summer from June until October. Strawberry picking season runs from early June to early October. Raspberries, blackcurrants, mulberries and plums are also available during this period, making it a berry lover’s paradise. A special feature is the “table strawberries”, which can be picked easily without having to bend down!

Bellis Brothers Farm are located in the beautiful Dee Valley on the outskirts of Holt Village near Wrexham, North Wales. In 1860, the Bellis family planted a special variety of strawberry in their garden called the Black Prince, which was so dark red and sweet that it was widely grown and sold over the next year, making the Bellis family one of the largest strawberry growers in the UK. The strawberries are the star of the show when it comes to picking here.
The farm is so fond of strawberries that the farm’s restaurant sells strawberry tarts, strawberry cream scones and strawberry shortcake, all of which are strawberry flavoured.
